Annabelle Creation is an american horror movie that was released in 2014. It failed to work in the box office and been criticized by a lot of people for its low quality. However, this film was made with a budget of $6,000,000 which is 10 times lower than typical Hollywood movies. The film received mixed reviews from critics and has gathered a cult following since its release due to its popularity online. On December 9, 2016 Annabelle Creation has been downloaded over 8 million times on YouTube alone which makes it the most viewed horror movie trailer on YouTube history surpassing Paranormal Activity 4's total views by more than 7 million views. Actress Renee Elise Goldsberry who performed as Queenie in Broadway's Hamilton was offered to perform in this movie but she declined the offer because of her schedule. The movie starts with a man at a park playing with his dog. Suddenly, he hears something inside his home. He rushes into the house but only realizes that his daughter has disappeared. The scene then changes to the main plot where a group of nuns are taking care of girls who are locked up in their house for their whole lives, no one is allowed to go out except for the Nuns. It is then revealed that the girls were born in a house that was forbidden to go into, and was burned down. The ones that came out of the house were possessed and died soon after and those who stayed inside survived and were taken care of by the Nuns. The movie continues as Father Burke (played by Anthony LaPaglia) comes to this house to investigate the disappearance of a child in the town. He finds out that all of them are possessed with ghosts which makes him suspect the Nuns who take care of them for their entire lives. Father Burke finds out two important facts about these girls- they are immune to ghosts, but if they stay in the dark place, they'll die. This place is the basement in this Nuns' house. So, he tries to rid them of these spirits by exposing them to light. He eventually succeeds in doing so only once the possessed girls are exposed to light. Unknown to him, these girls are still alive, but they are hiding at the Nuns' basement. The movie then shifts to present time where Father Burke's daughter Sarah (played by Ashley Greene) has just turned 18 years old and living with her father in this town along with her boyfriend Gabriel (played by Doug Jones), they have an argument about Gabriel wanting her to get married or not since he's already thirty years old. Sarah leaves her dad after this argument and seeks solace in the church only to be possessed very soon by a ghost who had been going on a killing spree in that town. The movie then ends with the conclusion of what happened to Father Burke's daughter Sarah. In the end, she becomes pregnant with a ghost child which she delivers inside the Nuns' basement. A Nun finds out about this and tells Father Burke about it, but before he can reach his daughter, she dies giving birth to a baby girl which is a product of a ghost and a human being.
